Thanks to Gizmodo for pointing me in the direction of this delightful blog. I often feel a little sorry for people born in the last 20 years or less. They really missed out an an entire decade+ of Future predictions that were wildly off-mark. From flying cars to hoverboards. So here’s to the future that never was.

Wall-E cemented the idea for me that robots, even those without a standard compliment of human articulation can be incredibly expressive and emotive.

Case in point the balancing robot that i discovered courtesy of engadget

It’s just so beautiful in its attempt at not falling.

there are things, stock full of so much delightfulness that they could only exist on the internets. this is one of them. beautiful and simple. if it seem blank at first just click with your cursor to let the sand drop
