Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard: the Ars Technica review

I couldn’t figure out why Apple would go from the smooth sexy space-yness of Leopard’s CD and retail box and switch to a National Geographic-ish picture of a Snow Leopard until i read this paragraph from Ars Technica’s fantastic incredibly meticulous review

“Eight years of the giant, centered, variously adorned “X” and then boom: a cat. There’s little chance that anyone who’s seen Leopard sitting on the shelf of their local Apple store for the past two years will fail to notice that this is a new product.”
